Halle and I traveled up to Michigan this past weekend to visit Hope College and my best friends. It could not have been a more perfect weekend. Halle did great and everyone loved seeing her! She was such a good girl! It was so great to be back with the best of friends in the place that we love so much. I was able to attend chapel on Friday and walk through campus, and it brought back the best memories. I'm so thankful we were able to go. For the first time, I felt old! It's strange going back to all that's familiar but see different faces there. All in all it was a great time, and it was fun to come back to Brian who missed his girls very much!

I missed you in SS on Sunday. Now I know why you weren't there. :-)
You talk about Hope the way I do about Westmont. Special friends were made in college. Ones I will cherish forever. And although I have made great friends here too, there will always be a special place in my heart for my fellow "Westmonsters". :-)
