All of a sudden today, Halle has started to take off. I'd come in the room and she'd be walking somewhere! At the library, she walked from the table to a book shelf by herself. We're so excited that she's gained more confidence and that she's pretty much our little walker!

11 months!
Halle is 11 months today. I can't believe it! It's so crazy to reflect on her life so far. It's been flying by. I'm sad that we will be leaving her place of birth. We will have many great memories of the first part of Halle's life here. It's so strange to me that soon we'll be in KY and it probably won't even phase her that she's living in a completely different place. It's kind of refreshing in a way, as it will probably be hard enough for Brian and I to adjust. We are excited though. I can't wait for all of the new things we have to look forward to living in a new place. I think Halle will get pretty fond of horses living around so many of them! Her grandpa Bradford said he'd buy her one someday. I hope he's ready!

Happy Birthday to me!
What a wonderful day! The weather was perfect- it made such a great day for a birthday. Brian definitely tried very hard to make it a special day. He did a great job! 26 years old! Wow!
I got these...

And, we went out to a romantic dinner at a place called Matteo's in Noblesville...

And then Ice Cream, bc I didn't have time to make myself a cake. Sad! :( My first b-day with no cake. I think I'll make one tomorrow. I also got... A new camera!! We're trying to real the manual right now. I can't wait to use it. And I got a new bathing suit. I've been trying to find one for the past year, so I'm very excited.

And here's me trying to make Halle look like a flower. She did not cooperate. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

To KY and Beyond!
This weekend was jam packed! We spent Friday and Saturday traveling to our new home in KY. It was a great chance for us to look around and get a feel for what next year will look like for us. We got more excited as we were able to check out our house and the campus and what's around. I was so overwhelmed at how many places I'll have to shop at and so many more places to go! It also became a little more real to us of what we're going to face next year. I feel the anxiety of the busyness that Brian will have and the amount of work that he's going to have to do. But I know it will be a huge year of growth for us both.
Here are a few pictures of us and some with Brian's friends we were able to visit

Here is where Brian will take his classes and do his studying. He mentioned to me, how when he was in seminary he'd walk by this building and dream about being in this program. What a huge blessing to see how God has provided. And here is the townhouses we'll live in one of them.

On another note, tonight was our last 747- our collegiate service. It was a great time of celebrating our time there and our students. They are all so amazing and have been such an encouragement to us both. They gave Brian this cake....It says, We'll miss you- Cutie Pie. Too funny! Then a picture of our student leadership team- the whole crew! Some students signing a banner for Brian, and his last appearance on stage. We will miss it greatly and working with these students has been an incredible blessing for us both. College students are amazing- their zest for life, and their passion for their faith is an amazing encouragement.

A little bit of this and a little bit of...
Usually I'm in bed by now, but I felt a sudden burst of energy, so I thought I'd give a quick update.
#1
This is my new bed! Yes. Thanks to my wonderful in-laws for driving it all the way up here from Louisiana. I have had such a hard time sleeping ever since we've had Halle. she sleeps great, but I don't! So I've been taking sleeping pills- which was a last resort. I've tried everything, and finally went to my doctor, and she advised this. I'm happy to say that for the past week, I've slept without taking anything! Yay! I've had some pretty good nights of sleep which has been such an answer to prayer. Plus, I got to pick out all new bedding- with Brian's help, and I am happy with our choice! So, hopefully I keep sleeping!

#2
Here are a few photos from our outside time yesterday. We love the sun! Halle doesn't quite know what to do when it's so bright- she stares at the ground. It's so funny though because she notices shadows and it's funny to see her try and figure out just what to do with them.

#3
Here's a video of Halle of her just being herself. After last weeks ordeal, it's so great to see her being her silly self again, and of course showing off her waving. It's her new big thing!
I think that's about it, I better get to bed!! I love bedtime now!

FRIENDS!!!
After our long week, we debated whether to keep plans with our great friends from MI. But we did, and had a great time with them. Our biggest adventure was visiting a Harley Davidson store. Steve just got a motorcycle, so we went to check out some gear. Halle even tried out a motorcyle! Thanks Steve and Di for visiting. We miss you!

Pray for Halle
Halle was admitted about 9:20 this morning at MGH. She was dehydrated from a few days of having the stomach flu. It's been a long, hard, day, but she is asleep for now. I'm praying she sleeps through the night. In the midst of her sickness, I was down for 2 days, and Brian is at home right now, feeling it come. So please pray that our family heals from all of it's yuckies! Halle started to be more herself around dinner time and was very eager to eat some Cheerios- which is a very good sign. She has been clinging to her mommy all day, and I'll be sleeping right beside her tonight. Hopefully we'll be going home with a good report in the morning! Thanks for your prayers!
