To KY and Beyond!

This weekend was jam packed! We spent Friday and Saturday traveling to our new home in KY. It was a great chance for us to look around and get a feel for what next year will look like for us. We got more excited as we were able to check out our house and the campus and what's around. I was so overwhelmed at how many places I'll have to shop at and so many more places to go! It also became a little more real to us of what we're going to face next year. I feel the anxiety of the busyness that Brian will have and the amount of work that he's going to have to do. But I know it will be a huge year of growth for us both.

Here are a few pictures of us and some with Brian's friends we were able to visit

Here is where Brian will take his classes and do his studying. He mentioned to me, how when he was in seminary he'd walk by this building and dream about being in this program. What a huge blessing to see how God has provided. And here is the townhouses we'll live in one of them.

On another note, tonight was our last 747- our collegiate service. It was a great time of celebrating our time there and our students. They are all so amazing and have been such an encouragement to us both. They gave Brian this cake....It says, We'll miss you- Cutie Pie. Too funny! Then a picture of our student leadership team- the whole crew! Some students signing a banner for Brian, and his last appearance on stage. We will miss it greatly and working with these students has been an incredible blessing for us both. College students are amazing- their zest for life, and their passion for their faith is an amazing encouragement.

Shannon, these photos are a terrific update. You both have an outstanding attitude and a true desire to ponder what's ahead for good-despite the challenges! Just think what warmer weather you'll be enjoying!

Love, Mom
