Changes

Lately, I think Halle's look is changing. I know it will a ton throughout her lifetime, but I'm excited because I actually think she's looking more like me. In her pictures her hair looks reddish, which in person, I don't think it does, but we'll see! Here is Halle in her Bumbo chair that she can fit into now and her bathing suit from Great Aunt Patsy! It is really for next summer, but I couldn't resist having her try it on! She is sleeping better at night and if she doesn't I'm going to try and cramp down and let her cry. :( I hope she just naturally falls into it! I don't like hearing her cry! She is such a joy!

Hey, you don't know me but I am friend of Lisa Velthouse and I also knew Brian in college. I just had a baby on May 30th and she is pretty much sleeping through the night. What has helped her sleep is the swaddleme blanket from www.kiddopotamus.com (you can also find it at babiesrus and target). The first time we tried it she slept 9 hours straight! She is still sleeping that long...sometimes longer. We think it is because she can't startle herself awake. Good luck!

She's so darlin'

My favorites are the two where she is sitting in her bumbo chair - - - - I kinda hate to TYPE bumbo chair, and I'd hate to SAY it even more - - - it sounds like a word I wouldn't let my students say in class!!! Hehehehehehe

What a cutie! That bathing suit is adorable!

Eily had a bumbo too, but her legs were too fat for it :)

I hate hearing Eily cry. I thought I'd be ok to let her "cry it out," but motherhood does something to you. Those cries just make my heart break! I finally had to use a timer (5 minutes)...not for Eily's sake, but for mine. It was the longest 5 minutes of my life. Once the timer went off, I was in her room in a flash...then back out for another 5 minutes... It killed me!

Fun pictures. Hope the sleeping is going well. Life is always better with a good night's sleep. :-)

Walking would be great! That is as soon as this crazy weather goes away... oh, wait, this is Indiana, the weather is always crazy. :-) But seriously, when this heat and humidity subsides, let's walk!
